The story of "Amruth Apartments" revolves around three characters - Amruth (Shivarajkumar), his wife Bhoomi (Nithya Menen) and father-in-law Appaiah (Prakash Rai). While Amruth is an unemployed youth who stays at home all day long, Bhoomi works hard to support her husband and father-in-law. Due to financial constraints, Appaiah has to rent out a portion of his house as an apartment complex which he rents out to tenants at a very high price. When Amruth comes across this information, he hatches a plan with Bhoomi to take over the complex so that they can get it on rent from Appaiah at a much lower price than what he's currently charging tenants. What follows next forms the rest of the story...
Overall, I thought "Amrut Apartment" was an average movie with good performances from Shivaraj Kumar, Nithya Menon and Prakash Rai . The story was simple yet interesting enough to hold my attention till the end . I would give this movie 3/5 stars."
